ArtPages.life is a 16-session art course that offers much more than just an occasional art class. Every other week, page by page, you will build a book of memories to preserve your legacy. Each participant will receive all necessary art supplies, personalized art instruction, and a portfolio to keep their artwork. While you create your art, a video will be made documenting your creative process. This video will be uploaded to a YouTube channel that you can share with your loved ones. At the culmination of the course, you will receive a hardbound book showcasing your artwork and memories, along with a QR code linking to your videos. ArtPages.life sessions are specifically designed for individuals aged 40+ who are interested in preserving their story. Some people claim that they are not creative. The good news is that everyone is creative, but most people don't think about it. Creativity is like a muscle that just needs a little bit of a workout. This is your opportunity to get the creative exercise your brain needs. Couples, friend groups, and multigenerational attendees are always welcome.

ArtPages.life courses are most effective in person, but that's not ideal for everyone. With readily available technology, there is an option for you to participate in an online class. You will still receive all of the instruction and resources but without the classroom experience. At the first session of the 16-session course, you will be given all of your art supplies, which will be yours to take home. The art sessions (or art classes) are 60–90 minutes in length, depending on the venue. After a welcome, initial instruction, and time for questions, you will begin creating your art pages. If you need more time to finish a project, you may complete it at home.

Jeff Byrd is a professional artist, illustrator, and designer based in the Sacramento area. Over the past 30 years he has worked on projects that include illustrations for books and periodicals, commissioned artwork, and designs for print and online content. Along with creative pursuits, he enjoys family history, publishing, and making new friends.

Although the schedule for each session depends largely on the start date, programs run every other week for 6 months. Schedules may occasionally shift due to holidays or unforeseen events. The cost for each of the 16 sessions is $15 per person, which must be paid prior to attending. If you pay for all sessions in advance, you will receive a $40 discount for a total of $200.

As mentioned earlier, everyone has a creative spark just waiting to ignite. There may be groups that wish to partner with ArtPages.life to host a fundraiser. In this arrangement, the partner group takes on the responsibility of providing a location and assisting with the promotion of the art sessions. In return, the group will receive 30% of the net proceeds.
